I was commissioned by The Story Of Foundation, Goa IN, to create artworks to be displayed within a VR installation designed by Deepti Datt about how five Indian women have traversed physical, literal, and conceptual ‘space’, far beyond the final frontiers.
The Story of Space Festival was held between the 10th and 19th of November 2017 in Panjim City, Goa, India. The fest turned into a learning playground with live experiences, immersive installations, workshops, talks, films, and panels on questions around space from multiple perspectives.
Persis Khambatta was an Indian model, actress, and author. She was known for her role as Lieutenant Ilia in the feature film Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979).

In 2003, Chawla was one of the seven crew members who died in the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster when the aircraft disintegrated during its re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere.
Asha Puthli is a singer-songwriter, producer, and actress from Bombay, India. She performed the vocals on the album Science Fiction by jazz saxophonist Ornette Coleman.
Dr. Usha Adebaran was a fictional character created by Anjalika Sagar for the film installations Otolith I & II. The Otolith Group was founded in 2002 and consists of Anjalika and Kodwo Eshun who live and work in London.
Kesarbai Kerkar was a legendary classical vocalist from Goa, whose music found a place on the Golden Record aboard the Voyager space probe, currently traveling 12 billion miles away from Earth.
